Google/Gemini AppsChat

  • What: We are excited to offer a free upgrade of Gemini for students over the age of 18 in Indonesia, Japan, the UK, and Brazil through July 2026. Students that sign up in these countries can now take advantage of access to our best AI model as they prepare for exams, perfect their writing and get homework help. Additionally, with a free upgrade to the Google AI Pro plan, students will get access to NotebookLM and 2TB of free storage.

  • Why: We want to expand the helpfulness of the Gemini app to more students so they can supercharge their learning and creativity.
