Google/Gemini AppsChat

  • What: Now you can have a quick, one-off conversation with the Gemini app that won’t be saved to your chat history. Our new Temporary Chat feature is great for when you're exploring private questions or brainstorming an idea that's outside your usual style. To start, select the “Temporary Chat” icon next to “New Chat”. This feature will be rolling out over the coming weeks, starting today.

  • Why: With Temporary Chat, you can have conversations that won’t appear in your recent chats or Gemini Apps Activity. These chats won’t be used to train Google’s AI models or personalize your Gemini experience, giving you a clean slate whenever you need one.
